FSMA and FSVP Compliance Conference 2019 - Are You Compliant?
Secaucus, N.J. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 - Afternoon Session
Why This Event is Important
The FDA's FSVP (Foreign Supplier Verification Program) is now legally mandated for almost all food import and manufacturing businesses.
This new law is complex and poorly understood and has resulted in many food importers and manufacturers implementing what they believe to be a compliant solution.
The problem is that many food importers and manufacturers are simply not complying as they do not understand what is required of them. Others are waiting until the FDA comes knocking, hoping to deal with the problem later. This approach could lead to serious problems, as the FDA will increase the level of enforcement over time. FDA mandates that the US importer, or consignee, is legally responsible and there are potentially harsh penalties for non compliance.
You owe it to yourself, and your business, to stay informed on what you need to do to comply with the new FSVP rule and assess what you have done already, in light of industry best practice.
If you are a senior manager in a food manufacturer or food importer, or responsible for food safety FSMA Supply Chain Programme or FSVP, then this FREE event is for you.
Join us to hear from industry experts and find out what you need to do, why you need to do it and how to comply.
